We have classes that represent all ages and stages for our children. Every teacher is background checked and given the proper materials to teach sound, Christ-centered and doctrinally correct lessons.
Friends Junction is everything children at Friends Baptist. Our children’s ministry exists for the purpose of leading children to See the Way | Know the Truth | Live the Life. Every Sunday they hop on board at the Junction and get a Bible lesson that is appropriate for their age group. We also have children’s small groups and our Awana club that meets throughout the week.
Suzanne took the role as Children’s Ministry Director in February 2024. We are confident that she will continue to grow this ministry and help lead it into the next phase of life. She loves children and has a heart for serving the Lord. She oversees everything “Children” at Friends and would love to meet you!
Kurt and Angie have been leading our Awana program for three years now, and their passion and commitment to the children who participate has been extraordinary. They put in countless hours of preparation to ensure that all activities are engaging and meaningful. On top of that, they always go the extra mile to make sure that every child feels included and grows spiritually. We are thankful they are on the Children’s Ministry Team.
